Becoming Unstoppable - Achieving Anything Using NLP
A lot of people ask me how I get so much done in so little time. I
basically tell them I fire myself up, and of course, most of them are
puzzled by what that means. It surprises me to no end that a lot of
people are unable to see the fact that they are able to control their
emotional state. In fact it kind of makes me upset that sometimes they
are pushing the blame away from themselves to other people "causing"
their emotions. If that's the case, your emotions no longer are your
own, and people can manipulate you like a puppet. I believe otherwise. I
believe you can take charge of anything you want, and this article will
show you how.
Element #1 - Great emotional states!
The emotions you have need to be controlled, so how exactly do you get great states? Test this out for a moment. When you sit up straight and smile, can you feel depressed? Likewise, if you slouch forward with your eyes half closed and frowning, can you feel motivated? Your physical state affects your emotional state tremendously. You can shift that easily, can't you! Another thing that controls your emotional state is the thoughts you have in your mind. Some people get motivated into action by playing images of people taunting them. Others get motivated into action by playing images of people congratulating them. Test it out and see which one creates a bigger impact on you.
Element #2 - External Input
Without external input, I would never have been able to create my articles. It takes sheer motivation to jumpstart my fingers into writing. But whenever I'm in that "flow", I take the opportunity to just spend 10 minutes or so writing the article because that emotional state does wear off! However, external input sometimes jogs my imagination. For instance, this article was inspired by one of my posts I wrote on Twitter (you can follow me on Twitter.com/stuarttan for some advice in NLP). As long as you fuel your mind with effective external input, you will be able to get into states that jumpstart your actions.
Element #3 - Conditioning Your Habits!
Yes, you need to make your behaviors count. Turn them into habits. If you want to be an unstoppable achievement machine, you must definitely allow yourself to become obsessed with the idea of achievement, not for any other reason but your own. To condition your habits, you need to understand core processes within NLP such as the Swish pattern. This can allow you to create a stable new behavior that happens on autopilot.
Once you build these elements, you become unstoppable. Whatever you want is whatever you will get because you're going to be fueled by powerful action-oriented emotions that keep you going!
