Knowledge Is The Most Powerful Weapon

Knowledge is the most powerful weapon you are ever going to have at your disposal. It is not a gun, a sword or a bomb because the strongest instrument you will have if you really want to make a change is what you learn. So, wherever you are right now in life, I want you to burn that into your mind.
But why is knowledge such a dominant tool? And how can you use it to your advantage?
Well, knowledge is not only the most powerful weapon; it is also the key to success and the most effective way to break the poverty cycle. And yes, it is a great influential tool and it can change the world. However, education and learning are related to each other.
But it does not need to be only school education; it can also be self-taught, books, a mentor, someone else's disaster or even your own failure. But whatever it is, you must always be learning, and learning something today knowing that it is an investment for tomorrow. Nowadays, I often live my life by this wonderful quote:
"Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but rather by the seeds you plant." - Robert Lewis Stevenson
The Relentless Pursuit of Knowledge
And that is what knowledge is and what the learning process is. It is learning something today that you do not even understand how it is going to be valuable or affect your life. But one day, that piece of knowledge is going to come to your aid.
Someday, that thing that you learned is going to be something you are going to lean on. One day, that thing that you work your butt off to understand better than anybody else in the world is going to help you change it. And that is a powerful weapon, isn't it?
So, you have to be doing it now, in learning it with an obsession. You have to understand that for your ideas to be realized, you have to chase that knowledge down. It is a relentless pursuit and just like you would build an armada, or would create a stockpile of great weapons, you must create a supply of knowledge expertise. You always have to learn more and more.
Planting the Seeds
However, you must hold yourself accountable every day to planting those seeds, to getting better, to learning more, and to understanding things more bluntly. And when you do that, there will be nothing that can stop you and everything will be unlocked to you.
Furthermore, you must understand that it does not matter where you are now, where you started, your circumstances, the money, the people that you know, none of it matters. What counts is how much you are willing to learn, how good you are eager to get and how much knowledge you are ready to soak in.
Recent research proves that the more you learn, the more your brain changes, and this at any age, and at any time. It is called neuroplasticity. In simple terms, it is the ability of your brain to learn, re-mold itself, both positively and negatively, throughout your life. And it is due to your surroundings, behaviors, thoughts, and emotions.
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - Nelson Mandela
Knowledge is Power
Yet, the simplest formula for winning in life is to be better than everyone else. You might say: "It is hard as hell," and I agree, but it works every time. So, if you want to be better than anyone else, you have to start knowing more about your area of expertise than anyone else out there.
Knowledge is power when used and translated into action. Be so good that no one can ignore you. In doing so, you become the world's foremost expert on a topic. And then, you will see how people line up to work with you. But it is up to you!
"Formal education will make you a living. Self-education will make you a fortune." - Jim Rohn
Shaping a Powerful Weapon
Do not think for a second that you are stupid, not talented, or that you are not a success because of previous failures. If you feel somewhat adrift at sea, not knowing how to get back to shore, not going where you want to go, you have to forge a new mindset. You have to believe that you can change those things about yourself.
Instead of asking for a handout, you must take control and get the desire to think about yourself and everything else in another way. You must create a new life compass that allows you to escape to better places. And knowledge can help you shape this powerful weapon.
As a result, knowledge is a great instrument to get better at anything, but it has to be followed by actions. You need to buckle down, practice, get good, do the reps, put in the effort, and break yourself in half so that people cannot ignore you anymore.
The Influential Tool of Knowledge
And the way to do that is to act by putting your new knowledge into action. So, you have to get out there and do something. If you already have a passion, you are so much further ahead than the vast majority of people.
So, if you know what your desire or purpose is, act. And if you do not know what it is, act also, because it is the only way you are going to find out. You have to try things. It is in the process of knowledge and action that you are going to acquire the things you need to learn.
"The more you learn, the more you earn." - Warren Buffet
So, your mind is a great asset. I usually try to read a new book every week or listen to an audio as I walk each day, but some very successful people do read a volume a day. Therefore, you should invest in yourself. Always be curious. Books and knowledge can become your most powerful weapon and change your life.
Formal Education and Learning
Now, you must realize that formal education is just like downloading data into your brain. It is force feeding down your throat and most of the stuff you learn in school, you never use in real life anyway. On the other hand, self-knowledge is learning and figuring out for yourself what to do next. And that is a powerful weapon which brings you lots of experience.
Never wondered why most university business teachers or graduates are not rich? Well, most of them know the theory, yet never put it into practice. They read a bunch of words while successful people live a bunch of lives. Besides, real life and school are just like day and night.
So, if you want to invest in your future, get more knowledge than what you get in school. It is a much more powerful weapon. Then apply the lesson in real life. Apart from biology classes, I always hated formal education because it looked like an instruction following thing which does not apply to reality.
Knowledge - The Powerful Weapon
In life, we all make mistakes, even fail. But in school, you are punished for doing mistakes, which makes no sense. The lesson is in the error you made, not from the punishment. So, you have to acquire your own knowledge and find a way to apply it. Do not be afraid to ask questions to those who know more, or to get mentors.
Therefore, whatever you are thinking about starting, begin with it. You will learn infinitely more in the process of trying to create and make it real. No matter if you watch videos, think, or meditate on it; none of it compares. Just go and do it. One step is better than one hundred hours of lecture or standing still. So, your powerful weapon is knowledge but you have to translate it into action!
However, remember that along the way, you will try a thousand things and that nine hundred and ninety-nine of them are not going to work. So do not look at who you are today, but just ask yourself who you want to become and if you are willing to pay the price to get there.
Action and Knowledge
And remember that your brain is constantly shaped by the world around you. It can be for better but also for worse, so pay attention. When you learn, apply the knowledge you acquire. Do not wait to act until you have it all figured out. No matter how chaotic your vision is, life is, or the circumstances you are going through, you have to take action.
As you can see, knowledge is truly the most powerful weapon and it grows with your mind. It will help you rise up and will be the thing that protects you when you need it most. Just build the brain you want to have. So, if you want to do something incredible tomorrow, learn today.
